Maha Kumbh Is Set For 2025: Devotees are expected to dip into the sacred water on Mauni Amavasya at Sangam during the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj and around 10 cores of pilgrims are expected to attend the Kumbh Mela on Wednesday 2025 which is very helpful to owners of hotels and dharamshalas in Prayagar || Sangam ||.

Assisting the large numbers of pilgrims, thorough administrative-level arrangements are being made. Mauni Amavasya is observed on the day of Magh Krishna Amavasya according to the Hindu calendar. This is regarded as the most sacred and significant date among all the special bathing occasions. As per the report published by the state government, more than 15 crore devotees have performed holy baths in the last 17 days of Maha Kumbh 2025. Unparalleled arrangements have been made for security. Security persons have been posted at every corner of the street and in every locality. AI-enabled CCTV cameras are also installed. Drones have been deployed to monitor the confluence areas.

 

Established a zone where vehicles are prohibited

The vehicle restriction in the zone has been implemented for a couple of days as the number of devotees at Mauni Amavasya is expected to be high. As the confluences of Yamuna and the mythical sacred river Saraswati are widespread over many hectares the area is a highly revered region.

The residents have also been urged by the Prayagraj administration not to use their 4 or 2-wheelers while taking senior citizens to the Sangam. As quoted by the news agency, the District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar said that to facilitate the paying of devotees from all over the world, the residents are encouraged to use 2 wheelers or to walk instead.

Today security protocols have been taken to another level with the placement of guards at every corner and the placing of AI-operated drones and CCTV cameras on the Mela site which is situated across hundreds of meters of land over the Triveni Sangam which is the intersection of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers.
