Weather Update: Cold conditions, with heavy fog in the early part of the day, the whole of North India

Weather Today Big Update: The weather forecast has been divided into three sections for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi-North Cannon. Delhi seems to change its demeanor once again. Uttar Pradesh is in for a rough weather forecast of dense fog delaying rail and aviation operations and a likely delay of some trains, Skymet said. There will be cloudy weather for two to three days with a chance of light rain on account of western disturbances.

The cold in Rajasthan might see another bout of intense coldness, thanks to the forceful winds blowing in from the Arabian Sea, light rain most likely over Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, and Kota.

Snowfall continues to envelop parts of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh as well.

Heavy snowfall is expected in Himachal Pradesh on February 4 and 5 further report says that snowfall in Shimla, Manali, Kullu, and Dharamshala will lower the temperatures. Severe cold is likely to persist in both Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti.

In several areas of the Kashmir Valley, snowfall has severely disturbed the day-to-day activities. In Srinagar and surrounding areas, the temperatures may drop down to zero degrees Celsius. Northeastern states like Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland might face rains and strong winds due to cyclone activity.

Light rains are expected to continue across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala. Temperatures might rise to the high 31’s and go as low as 31’s across Kerala. There are indications that this vigilance is to continue for some days.

The meteorologists expect a change in the weather across the country for several coming days.

The people are advised to be cautious about changing weather conditions, rain and cold winds are likely to affect tempers. Perhaps this will provide some ease to the farmers, as the rain dribbles down, it also augments natural irrigation for crops such as wheat.
