Jagtar tried to escape by pushing the police personnel, after which the police shot him. Earlier on Sunday night, the police had shot Sahil alias Neela.

Punjab Police has opened a front against drug smugglers. On Monday morning, the police shot an accused named Jagtar Singh while taking action against drug smuggling. The police shot and injured a drug smuggler in the border area of Gharinda.

The accused was running away by pushing the police

Actually, on Monday, the police had reached a deserted area of Gharinda to recover weapons and drug caps on the information of Jagtar Singh who was caught with one kg of ice drug. As soon as the police took Jagtar Singh down from their vehicle and started making him identify the place, Jagtar pushed the police personnel and tried to run away from there.

The police explained to Jagtar, but he did not listen. The police warned him and fired in the air to stop him, but when Jagtar still did not stop, the police shot him in the leg and injured him. After this, the police immediately chased and caught Jagtar Singh. However, nothing has been recovered from that place. The search operation of the police is continuing.

On Sunday night, the police had shot Sahil alias Neela

At the same time, before this, on Sunday night also the police had taken action against the drug smuggler. On Sunday night, there was firing between the police and the drug smuggler Sahil alias Neela in Fateh Enclave near Khanna Paper Mill.

The police were continuously chasing Sahil. Cases of drug smuggling and arms smuggling are registered against Sahil.

The police had information that Sahil was hiding in Fateh Enclave. While taking action, the police surrounded Sahil. The drug smuggler also fired at the police, during which a policeman got shot by Sahil’s pistol. After which the police also fired in retaliation and shot the accused Sahil and injured him.
