Weather Forecast: The weather is changing again! According to the Meteorological Department, western winds are blowing in northeastern India. Due to this, rain is possible in many parts of the country. Arunachal Pradesh may receive light to moderate rain from 15 to February 20. Also, snowfall is likely. Strong winds are blowing throughout the day in most parts of Uttar Pradesh, making it feel cold in the morning and evening.
Due to late-night rain in many areas of the northeastern states, a drop in temperature has been observed. The wind speed in Bihar also makes people feel cold. Apart from this, the temperature has dropped due to snowfall in the hilly areas of Kashmir. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain and hailstorms in many country regions.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim. A new western disturbance may arrive in the western Himalayan region from February 17. Due to this, light rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Uttarakhand. Rain alerts were issued in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Western Uttar Pradesh between February 18 and 20.
How will the weather be in Delhi?
The weather in our capital, Delhi, is also going to change. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi will likely remain cloudy on Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures may stay around 27 and 11 degrees Celsius.
February 20 Forecast
The Meteorological Department has said there may be rain in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Bihar on February 20.
Bihar Weather
According to the IMD, strong winds continue in Bihar. Humidity in the air can be recorded at up to 70 per cent in Patna. A rain warning has been issued in the state between February 15 and February 21.
Rain alert in these states
IMD has issued a warning of heavy rain in the northeastern states. Rain alerts have been issued in Manipur, Mizoram, and Sikkim, along with thunder and strong winds. Hailstorms may also occur here. Also, rain may occur in many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Puducherry and Nagaland.
