Bihar Board
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is soon on the verge of announcing the
Class 12 (Intermediate) examination results for the year 2025. Students who have
given such exams are very eagerly waiting for their results which are expected
somewhere between March 27, 2025, and March 31, 2025.
Exams Overview
The BSEB conducted Class 12 examinations for the 1,677 centres throughout the
State from February 1 till February 15, 2025. Out of the total number of students who
registered for the examination, 12,92,313 were girls numbered 6,41,847 and boys
numbered 6,50,466.
Result Declaration Information
The BSEB will declare the results in a press conference. After this announcement,
students can check their results in the following official websites:

Result Checking Steps
The following steps can facilitate the checking of the Bihar Board 12th result online:
1. Open the official BSEB result website at results.biharboardonline.com.
2. On the homepage, click on the link that says “Intermediate Result 2025.”
3. Enter the Roll Code and Roll Number accordingly.
4. Hit the “Submit” button.
5. View your result displayed on the screen.
6. Save the result for further reference by downloading and printing it.
Checking Result via SMS
In case some students do not have internet access there is a provision to check
results via SMS by BSEB:
1. Open the message application on your phone.
2. Write “BIHAR12” with one space and enter your Roll Number, e.g. “BIHAR12
123456”.
3. Dispatch this message at 56263.
4. You will receive your Bihar Board 12th Result 2025 as an SMS.
5. Keep the SMS or take a screenshot for your reference.
Result Checking through DigiLocker
Mark sheets can additionally be accessed via DigiLocker which is a digital platform
for issuance and verification of documents and certificates:
1. Open DigiLocker website, digilocker.gov.in.
2. Click on the link “BSEB 12th Result 2025.”
3. Register with the required details.
4. You will have to enter your Roll Number and Roll Code.
5. After the declaration of result, your mark sheet shall be available on DigiLocker.
Criteria for Passing
To be able to pass the Bihar Board 12th examination the student is required to
obtain:
- 33% marks in each subject as evaluated.
- A minimum of 40% in practical evaluation.
Post Result Process
After the results are made public, students have to do the following:
- Collect original mark sheets and certificates from respective schools or colleges.
- Apply for re-evaluation or scrutiny if they think that there has been an error in
marking. - Consider options in higher education or career paths according to their results.
