After declaring the election dates by CEC for Delhi. Now there is a race between all the candidates.
The first step was already completed by the parties High K aman by deciding the contestants on different seats.
Now after declaring the contestant’s name in different Constituencies, a second role for the contestants to fill the nomination. Contestants are filling this nominationtion at the Collector’s office.
Atishi was supposed to fill the nomination on Monday 13-01-2025 before 3 Somehow how she was not able to fill this nomination today.
Reason for not filling this nomination:
As Atishi is a big face and the current Chief Minister of Delhi so she has decided to do a roadshow before going the to Collector’s office. She went to the Temple and Gurdwara Sahib to take the blessing before filing the nomination. Afterward, she went to the Election office with Kejriwal complaining about foul play on the voter list. Top Leaders from AAM Aadmi Party were also present at this meeting.
During this activity, she missed the timeline and she was not able to fill out the nomination today by 3 pm.
As per the reports Atishi before filling the nomination she went to Giri Nagar Gurdwara also Kalka ji mandir today to take the blessings of Kalka maa. During this Manish Sisodiya was accompanied her at these places.
Just for the information, every candidate must submit their nomination by 3 pm at the Collectorate office.
Alka Lamba Statement :
Alka Lamba congress contestant and well-known face of Delhi said, I have seen how Atishi road show was giving problems by creating traffic mess. She said People got stuck in traffic during the roadshow show. They were feeling helpless in the traffic jam. She said by seeing all this I have decided to go to the collector’s office with my lawyers only to fulfill my nomination. She said would not do any road shows and wouldn’t put Delhi people in a problem.
Just for your information Alka Lamba is also the contestant for the Kalka ji seat. She represents Congress from this Constituency.
Hopefully, Alka Lamba will fill her nomination tomorrow but it has not been confirmed yet.
After missing the timeline by Atishi she will fill the nomination tomorrow.
