Delhi Election Result 2025: BJP Sweeps Delhi, Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia Suffer Defeat

Delhi election result 2025: The Aam Aadami party has suffered a huge loss in the Delhi Assembly Election. The format CM of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, and format deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia both lost the election. As per the results, Visual has lost a Delhi assembly seat, whereas, from Jangpura, Manish Sisodia Sisodiya has faced the loss.

 

Statement of Sisodiya after the defeat

The statement from Sisodiya comes after the loss of the assembly seat from Jangpura. When talking to the journalist, he mentioned that he was defeated by 600 votes, and he thanked the winning candidate from Jangpura and the people of Jangpura. He said the winning candidate will enthusiastically work for the people.

On the other side, the candidates of the Aam Aadami party from Rajendra Nagar seat Durgesh Pathak also lost the election. Avadh Ojha has also been defeated as an AAP candidate from the Pratapgarh seat.

 

Avadh Ojha has given a statement in which he accepted this as his defeat. He mentioned he might not be able to connect with the people and in the next election they will meet with the people.

 

Vote counting is still underway

 

The voting was counted in the capital on February 5. The three tier security has been implemented in the 19 counting centres in the capital. In each Centre two companies of the paramilitary force were placed. According to the exit Poll, it was well predicted that Delhi is for AAP whereas the BJP said they will win by the majority. And as per the results it has been shown that the BJP stood on their words.
