Delhi elections: Patparganj, BJP’s Negi Takes Lead Over AAP’s Avadh Ojha

Delhi elections: East Delhi Patparganj election results are set to be out amid intense contest in the Delhi assembly elections 2025. Aam Aadmi party is struggling to retain its position as BJP took the lead. In 2020 AAP leads BJP with 49.3% vote a close lead where as BJP was having percentage of 47.1%.

BJP’s Ravinder Negi took the lead by 20000 votes. Avadh Ohja is trailing at 12820 votes and Ravinder Negi leads 30851. in 6th round of counting.

Avadh Ohja a well-known civil service coach and motivational speaker was fighting against Ravinder Negi a seasoned politician. He was said to be the most famous out of all AAP candidates as  he is most famous among student and youth. He is set to fail this time against well oiled BJP candidate. Ohja , a first time contestant has built reputation as academicians and motivational speaker. But this time no prior experience in politics lead to the lag and less votes in the elections against the veteran Negi. Earlier this seat was won by Manish Sisodia who won thrice consecutively but he is now contesting from Jang Pura.

As the vote counting continues, it seems to have a fierce battle in following rounds. AAP which was dominating Delhi politics for last decades, now falling short in counts going on live.

Ravinder Negi recently caught the eyes of many as PM Modi touched his feet at a public event. Whereas Congress candidate Anil Chaudhary who won in 2008 on this seat is right now failing by very less votes.
