An easy method to make ginger pickles:
1. Cleaning and cutting ginger:
First, wash and clean the ginger thoroughly. Then, peel it and cut it into thin pieces.
2. Prepare tamarind pulp:
Soak tamarind in lukewarm water and strain its pulp when it becomes soft. This will be used for the sour taste of the pickle.
3. Prepare the seasoning of spices:
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, black pepper, cumin seeds, coriander, urad dal and chana dal. Fry them on low flame. Now add chopped garlic and ginger to it. Mix well. After this, add whole red chillies and asafoetida and stir.
