The government increases DA twice yearly, the rates of which are relevant from January 1 to July 1.
How much will the salary increase?
If there is an increase of 3 per cent, then there is bound to be a bumper increase in salary. For example, if your salary is Rs 30,000 per month, then at the rate of 3per per cent, there will be an increase of Rs 900 per month. That is, an increase of Rs 10,800 annually will be no less than good news. This increase will be like a booster dose in inflation.
There is good news on the 8th Pay Commission, too.
Modi government can also give good news to the 8th Pay Commission. It has already received approval from the Cabinet. It is believed that it can be formed before the new financial year.
