The weather may worsen with thunderstorms in the capital Delhi and adjoining areas, where rain is expected. According to the IMD, a warning of rain with thunderstorms has been issued in Rohini, Pitampura, Mundka, Paschim Vihar and Punjabi Bagh.
Apart from this, an alert of light rain has been issued in Rajouri Garden, Buddha Jayanti Park, Zafarpur, Najafgarh and Dwarka. Rain warning has also been issued in many areas including Delhi Cantt, Palam, Vasant Vihar and Vasant Kunj. At the same time, there may be heavy rain in some parts of Delhi NCR.
Rain alert in Rajasthan too
According to the IMD, the effect of Western Disturbance can also be seen in Rajasthan. On Tuesday, light rain occurred in many areas including Jaipur. The IMD has predicted cloudy weather and rain in the western and northern parts of Rajasthan till February 20.
Rain warning in northeastern states as well
According to the Meteorological Department, continuous rain is being seen in the northeastern states. According to the IMD, rain warning has been issued in many parts of Manipur, Puducherry and Mizoram. Rain warning has also been issued in Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.
