Maharastra,22 January 2025 A Tragic event has left the nation mourning when a train ran over people killing 11 and many injured. This devastating accident happened due to suspicion of fire in a train in the early hours near Jalgaon crashing passengers and causing chaos and heart-wrenching scenes of loss and panic.
What happened?
Fearing fire passengers jumped of the Puspak Express which was crushed by the Karnataka Express coming at full speed. The death train went up to 11 and many were injured. As per the sources fake fire rumor surfaced across the train which led to all chaos and made them jump off the adjacent train where Karnataka Express was running. The exact confirmation of how many people are dead is yet under investigation. 8-10 are feared dead and around 20 are feared severely injured. The authority has yet to inform us of these figures. Officials are also probing what exactly caused this panic and the source of the fire alarm in the train coach due to which these lives have been lost. For now, Rescue and relief work is in progress. The injured passenger has been rushed to a nearby hospital but the exact number of causality is yet not certain.
Critical condition
Eyewitnesses to the tragic incident recall people screaming for help.The medical team is working round the clock to stabilize critical patients while families are anxious about the updates on their family members.
Action taken
NDRF was deployed in rescue and recovery operations. Railway authorities informed us that rescue operations would continue until the situation became clear. CM of Maharastra expressed condolence to the families of people who lost their lives. and prayed for the speedy recovery of injured ones. People from all over India are also praying to god for safety and speedy recovery of the injured ones.
