The budget session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly is starting from Friday. As we all know, the Assembly elections are to be held in November this year. The budget session was expected to begin amid uproar from the first day.
A similar scene was seen on Friday. When members of left parties gathered in the Vidhan Mandal premises with chains tied to their hands and raised slogans against the central government. The US government had recently sent back Indians who had entered illegally to India with chains tied, which the Left parties are opposing.

When the budget session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly began, the leaders of the left parties arrived with their hands tied with chains. The leaders raised slogans at the assembly gate. Left leaders, carrying posters and banners in their hands, protested against the decision of the US government under which the hands and feet of the NRIs were tied with chains and they were sent back.

MLAs arrived in the Central Hall inside the Assembly wearing chains
CPI MLAs arrived in the Assembly and Central Hall wearing chains in both hands. They stood in front of the Assembly Speaker and the Governor and told them that a US plane carrying NRIs had come to India. The feet of the Indians on board were tied with chains. The MLAs protested by calling it an insult to India.
The budget session began with the Governor’s address.
The budget session of the Bihar Legislature began on Friday with the address of Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. The Governor addressed the joint meeting of both the houses in the Central Hall.
He enumerated the schemes of the government. After this, separate meetings of both the houses will begin. Let us tell you that there will be a total of 20 meetings in the budget session.
On Friday, i.e. on the first day of the budget session, the Economic Survey Report will be presented. Deputy Chief Minister cum Finance Minister Samrat Choudhary will present the Economic Survey Report of 2024-2025 in both the Houses one after the other.
