Los Angeles has been going through a critical situation due to wildfire, for last week. Unfortunate news is that 25 people had lost their lives due to this fire. As per the report, around 6 million people in Los Angeles and its surroundings are under threat due to this.

 

As per reliable channels and news from the US, the Fire Department of Los Angeles is less staffed as compared to other cities in the US.

As per information and experts, this wildfire is the second-largest destructive wildfire in southern California history.

Air Quality threat:

 

Strong Santa Ana winds are blowing through LOS Angeles County through Wednesday evening.

 

Due to wildfire burning ash and dust from burn scars are impacting the air quality in this region. As per experts air quality may reach that level which is unhealthy for sensitive people.

 

Los Angeles County Department has already issued the windblown and dust advisory.

 

Children, older, pregnant, and patients with heart disease and lung disease are under life threat due to this polluted air.

For safety, officials have advised residents not to come out and be inside the home by keeping their doors and windows closed.  They have asked them to use an air purifier at home.

In the advisory, they asked the residents to use the masks available at public libraries. Recreation centers and senior centers.
