Maha Kumbh 2025: Poonam Pandey Creates Stir with Scooty Ride to Sangam, Takes Holy Bath on Mauni Amavasya

Poonam

The Mahakumbh 2025 has attracted various devotees, and Bollywood actress and model Poonam Pande has also invited people to dive into the waters.

She said that was the best moment in her life as she went for Amrit Snan at Sangam. Poonam has been posting several snaps and videos of bathing on social networking sites.

The tremendous crowd meant that she had to sit still in traffic and take a scooter to reach Sangam Ghat. Poonam Pandey reached Sangam Ghat on a scooter. The traffic system is wholly affected by the influx of devotees going to the Mahakumbh measured in lakhs.

Amidst the gathering, Poonam Pandey preferred to start her journey on a scooter from Sangam Ghat; however, due to traffic, it too could take her forever. Videos and photographs of Poonam Pande are going viral now on social media.

“All sins must have been forgiven,”

“All sins must have been forgiven,” she said after Amrit Snan. Poonam Pandey made a statement on taking the plunge in Sangam: “It was an experience above all.” It was her way of saying that all her sins were forgiven after a dip in the Ghat. She also boat-ridden after her dip in the Ganga and posted quite a few pictures about it too.

She expressed sorrow over the tragedy of the Mauni Amavasya stampede.

“The entire nation was in mourning over the loss of so many lives when a stampede occurred on Mauni Amavasya day in Mahakumbh.” Poonam Pandey, too, described it as an unfortunate incident and expressed her sincere grief over it. She further said that more needs to be done on the part of the administration and the government to prevent such disasters from occurring.

The Mahakumbh stampede has injured more than 60 people and now claimed over 30 lives. The government would give compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the relatives of the dead, according to police reports.

Milind Soman also arrived at the Mahakumbh.

Milind Soman, a Bollywood model and actor, came to Mahakumbh with his wife Anikta Kanwar, along with Poonam Pandey.
He, along with some others, participated in the sacred event by swimming into the Sangam. Conan also expressed grief over the stampede, worrying for the safety of devotees.

Crowd management and security measures have come under scrutiny.

Even though thousands of devotees have gathered to bless themselves with sacred bathing, incidents like stampedes are truly exposing lapses in security arrangements. This fair provides an excellent opportunity for saints and sages, common people, and even Bollywood stars to receive some devotion in their piety, especially after Poonam Pandey visited the Mahakumbh for the Amrit bath.

But incidents like stampedes raise questions about such arrangements for the sacred fair. Hence, the administration is going to work even harder now.
