Two Spiral Galaxies
The image below shows two spiral galaxies made up of stars gas and dust. These types of galaxies are often caught in gravitational interactions and give rise to star formation.
A pair of interacting galaxies
These galaxies are near to each other which seems like interacting with each other. Such systems are either on the way to merging or undergoing gravitational disturbances which are complex.
Tangled Galaxies
This is a wonderful picture of MCG+05-31-045, a double galaxy in an interaction process.it is 390 million light-years from Earth. See the picture it seems to be a mixture of star gas and dust.
ARP 248
These are the two galaxies in the galactic triplet ARP 248. Its location is in the Virgo constellation. with a distance of 200 million light-years away from the Earth.
Portrait of Stephan’s Quintet
This is an unusual group of 5 galaxies. Few are interacting with each other. This shows how Galaxies evolve and interact with each other.
ARP 148
This Pic shows the spectacular outcome of the Galaxy Collision. One Galaxy has the shape of a Ring
and the other is the shape of the tail as a result of the gravitational interaction between the two.
