Oppo Find N5 is the next foldable flagship smartphone reputed to enter the Indian market in February or March. It would be the slimmest-ever foldable smartphone on this planet and is expected to be powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU to boost its performance.
In addition to its new folding configuration, the Find N5 will receive an IP rating—a freshwater resistance certificate. With its IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 certifications, it will be the first foldable device to achieve those designations.
All this, but the Oppo Watch X2 will be joining the Oppo Find N5
According to Zhou Yibai, Oppo’s Find series’ product manager, he disclosed via a Weibo post that Oppo would be available in N5’s white variant. There’s also speculation on a black edition. Zhou went on to disclose that the Oppo Find N5 and Watch X2 are scheduled to launch simultaneously. From TENAA certification, the round-faced watch dial supports blood pressure measurement.
Expectations for Oppo Find N5
The Oppo Find N5 will probably be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 elite chipset. There have been reports that its 7-core version may also exist. Data from the Geekbench show this device is very powerful, with a single-core test score of 3083 and a multi-core test score of 8865.
Another exciting development is the fact that the Oppo Find N5 may come with a rather large 5700mAh battery, one that is bigger than the Find N3 model which has a 4805mAh battery. It also has 50W wireless and 80W wired fast charging support.
Camera and design
Three cameras on the back of the Oppo Find N5, also, there is a periscope telephoto that clicks zoomed pictures. The look of this smartphone may resemble the Find N3. It will have flat panels both inside and outside with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It claims to be the world’s thinnest foldable, yet the Find N5 will sport a sizable 5,700mAh battery. More than that seen in the Find N3 model, 4,805 mAh. Both wireless fast charging of 50W and wired quick charging of 80W will be fired up on this device to avoid wasting many precious minutes of the customer’s time.
The camera set-up is expected to include a foldable triple-rear camera with zooming abilities through a periscope telephoto lens. Simply put, the Find N5 will be pitted against the other flagship foldables on performance and adaptability in terms of camera hardware.
There are high expectations surrounding the brand’s foldable smartphone this time and it would be interesting to see how well it reaps in the Indian market.
