About Oscars 2025 Nominees:

The major surprise of the nominations the lack of bigger surprises as there were major contenders that seemed like would sneak in the nominations but ultimately dint. That does not mean though that nominations were completely devoid of eyebrow-raising moments and the most Eyebrow-raising moment is the movie that walked away with the most of nominations Emelia Perez. It got 13 nominations one less than an all-time record set by EVE Titanic and La La and many more.

Breaking down nominations by category Starting with Best Supporting Actress the nominees were Monica Barbaro it took as a surprise that voters gravitated towards her. Ariana grande for the wicked and Felicity for the brutalist are the chosen ones. Margaret Quali who was not listed is the sad thing to know.

No Nominations from India

From India, earlier news was about a movie made to the nominations The Band of Maharajas but in the end, it could not make up to Final list.
