LOC and Landmines:
LOC is a military-controlled area that divides India and Pakistan’s boundaries. After the war between India and Pakistan in 1971, there was a Shimla agreement in 1972, and during this agreement, both countries decided to declare a ceasefire line into a line of control.
As the LOC line of control is a very sensitive area and most of our forces are very active there to look out for the security of Indian citizens. They are waking day and night so that every Indian can sleep.
To avoid trespasser from the line of control our troops are patrolling and they are having their eye on the areas near to line of control.
Landmines are also there on the ground in a hidden way so that any trespassing activities should be controlled.
What are Landmines :
Landmines are the explosive devices which are buried in the ground In a hidden way and get activated if someone will put weight or pressure on it.
As per the information these soldiers belong to Gorkha rifles.
Indian public is praying to God for their wellness.
Very sad to see this
