Yesterday’s match against J.Faria was not an easy one for Novak Djokovic, but it was his record-breaking,430th grand slam match of his career, which has certainly made him one of the if not the greatest tennis player to ever play in the history of this sport, as he broke the long-held record of Roger Federer who ha played a total of 429 grand slam matches in his long and successful career spanning over 25 years!.

Those who watch lawn tennis most certainly know him, but for those who don’t, this name might not certainly ring a bell. Novak Djokovic is a 37-year-old Serbian tennis player who is also the record holder for the most weeks as number one in the world, He started his career in 2003 and continues to play on to this day.

The list of Djokovic’s large trophy cabinet goes on and on. He has won a total of 24 major titles in his career, edging out his fellow Tennis players, Rafael Nadal (22) and Roger Federer’ 20.
