Budget 2025: The central government announced war-like news on the day of the budget for farmers. Raising the Kisan Credit Card limit some farmers are in big schemes. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman came forward during the presentation of the budget for the nation stating that the government would provide a solid basis to sustain the fishing industry’s output in high seas and special economic zones.  To progress the Make in India initiative, the fisheries sector must provide a strong framework. The government will also provide a strong framework and comprehensive innovation strategy.

 

IIT Patna is going to grow

The national government has announced an increase in the capacity of an IIT. According to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, efforts would be made to build more infrastructure in five IIIITs. IIT Patna will also grow in tandem with this.

Nirmala Sitharaman also said in Parliament that the leather and footwear industry of India has a strategy for non-leather footwear. It is expected that this government manufacturer will create 22 lakh jobs and generate Rs 4 lakh crore in revenue. Additionally, exports are expected to be more than Rs 1.1 lakh billion.

 

Setting up of the Makhana Board in Bihar

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced on Saturday the setting up of the Makhana Board in Bihar as part of the Union Budget 2025. Sources indicate that the board would be set up in Bihar to increase value addition and processing of this unknown food item rich in protein.

The board will provide history and handling information regarding this relatively lesser-known protein food item. The board will provide technology that is related to trade and handholding.

Also, it will make sure farmers reap all benefits that are provided through the government’s schemes. Besides, FM Sitharaman declared the National Institute of Food Technology in Bihar will be operational and will raise the income of the farmer, stimulate growth and entrepreneurship.
