Traffic Alerts Restrictions & Road Closures in Deoghar

Traffic arrangements have been made by the Deoghar district administration to control traffic congestion caused by the influx of devotees coming for the celebration.

 

Restriction period: February 23(6 AM) to February 27(10 PM)

The restrictions apply to trucks, buses, tractors, and other heavyweight vehicles.

 

Alternate Routes for Devotees

Routes which will divert towards vehicle entry into Deoghar:

From Dumka & Godda

Vehicles shall turn left — Hindolvaran → Tapovan → Charkhi Pahari → Ujala Chowk → Purana Kunda Mor → Koriasa Turn → Giridh.

 

From Giridh

Vehicles shall turn right: Koriasa → Police Station Purana Kunda → Ujala Chowk → Charkhi Pahari → Tapovan → Hindolvaran → Dumka.

 

From Rohini Devipur

Traffic shall be diverted to Jasidih via Rohini Shaheed Park.

 

From Tabhaghat Jasidih Chakai

Vehicles intending to go to Bhagalpur, Dumka, and Godda should traffic from Tabhaghat pass via Mohanpur.

 

From Sarwa – Sarath

Vehicles at Purana Kunda Police Station take a right turn → Ujala Chowk → Tapovan → Hindolvaran.

 

NO entry into Deoghar area being heavily congested.

 Eighteen Untimely Points are declared no-entry for heavy vehicles and four-wheelers owing to traffic regulations.
