Virat Kohli’s Unexpected Absence from Ranji Trophy Leaves Fans Stunned: Health Issues Cited

According to the news, Kohli won’t be able to play for the Ranji Trophy due to neck pain. According to Kohli, he is taking treatment for this.

He said during the series of border gwaskar trophies he was facing this issue and after the series on the 8th of January he got injected for this pain.

K.L. Rahul is also not playing the Ranji trophy. Both players are giving the reason for not playing is their health.

After losing the Australia tour BCCI has decided that it this compulsory for all team members to play in domestic cricket.

After the poor performance in the Gawaskar series, BCCI issued an advisory for all Indian teams last week.

The key bullet point in this advisory was that

  • No player will be involved in any kind of adv and shoot during the series.
  • all players must play in domestic cricket.
  • All the players will be available for BCCI programs.
  •  If any player will not be available for any series then he has to get permission from BCCI in advance.

 

ODI Series Against England

 

Although Rahul and Kohli May have a chance to play in the coming series which is going to start on the 6th of Feb . This is a one-day series against England. If Both the players are medically fit then they will play in this upcoming series.

Jay Shah has resigned from the Post of BCCI Secretary and has now been replaced by Devajit Saikia. A brief introduction about Devajit is he is a former Cricketer from Assam. He was the long-term Secretary of the Assam Cricket team and also the president of Guwahati Town Club.

He played for the Ranji trophy and Nyadu Trophy as well. He started his career in cricket in 1984. He is a lawyer by profession and at the age of 28, he was practicing at the district court of Guwahati. Cricket Fans are very happy and feeling motivated after his joining as a BCCI secretary.
