Weather Update: According to the Meteorological Department due to rainfall last morning in Delhi NCR the weather has changed. There is a possibility of heavy dense fog on the NCR this week and there will be a drop in the temperature.
Due to strong cold winds blowing in North India, it has significantly increased the coldness in North India including Delhi NCR on Tuesday. The fall in temperature has increased the coldness in North India.
The Meteorological Department of India has predicted the very low fall of temperature in North India which may cause snowfall and cold winds in some parts of India such as Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday.
The trains and flights are getting delayed due to very dense fog in Northern India.
The IMD ( Indian Meteorological Department) has said the temperature of Delhi NCR will be around 11 degrees Celsius minimum and the Maximum will be 18 degrees Celsius. The IMD has given yellow alerts in these states. According to the information, due to the dense fog in NCR approximately 150 flights have been delayed on Monday.
Due to the cold wave and fall in temperature, the IMD ( Indian Meteorological Department) has announced that people can see very cold and dense fog in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on January 7 and 8.
In some districts of the UP, due to freezing weather, a few people lost their lives as 1 farmer died in Chitrakoot and 2 people lost their lives in Kanpur and Fatehpur on Tuesday.
Alert for Cold day in UP
The regular fall in temperature, the government has announced an alert in Lucknow, the capital of UP. The temperature keeps falling in the state as the minimum temperature is seen as 8 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius as the maximum on Tuesday.
Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir
Heavy snowfall has been seen in Jammu and Kashmir in the past 24 hours. The travellers have got stuck in the snowfall and tourists are enjoying the weather. In Gulmarg and Gurez 15 inches of snowfall has been seen and in other parts of the state, the snowfall has touched 2 feet of snow.
People have also faced snowfall and light rain in Shopian, Kupwara, Pulwama, Kulgam, and Anantnag.
Heavy fog in Bihar
The state of farmers and civil services in Bihar is also facing dense fog in the state. This state is adjacent to UP and faces the slap of cold weather parallel. The IMD ( Indian Meteorological Department) saw a fall in temperature by 10 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
The heavy fog is seen in many parts of Bihar and the continuous coldness will be faced by the people of the state for some more days.
Weather conditions in Jharkhand
The MD has given the alert of dense fog in Saraikela Kharsawan, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Hazaribagh.
